LinkedIn leverage

From maladroit to adroit in just 6 days – that’s accountability. Accountability on LinkedIn begins with a mindset for learning and a common sense approach. Last week, I wrote:

“LinkedIn is a steady lead generation engine for “a few” Realtors and I’m going to be one of those Realtors. My research yesterday indicates that my LinkedIn goals are very achievable.

All of that being said, I’m taking a Lead Generation class right now with Melissa Henault and her incredibly talented Burnout to Allout team. This blog post is how I’m turning in my Day 1 class assignment.

My first goal is to rank my “Social Selling Index” within the top 5% of the real estate industry before July next year. If you don’t know about the Social Selling Index on LinkedIn, then click here.”

The great news is that I went from an “industry” Social Selling Index rank of 28% to 8% in just one week. That means, among real estate agents, brokers and marketers my rank increased 400x in just a few days.

My “current social selling index” is now 48 – my index last week was 38, and I’m told that 80 is the goal.

The primary thing that I changed is “engagement.” “Engaging with insights” is measured by the 553% jump I witnessed in “post impressions.” I saw a total of 764 post impressions in the past 6 days and all that I did to increase that number is a small re-brand with images, photos, videos and new content on my “about” page.

Then, I posted or re-posted 7 posts.

I now have 2 goals that are much faster than goals for next July:

  1. Top 4% industry Social Selling Index score by March 1, 2025 – that’s a two fold increase from 8 to 4
  2. a Social Selling Index score of at least 70 by March 1, 2025 – that’s an increase of 22 points
